The Zambian president, Levy Mwanawasa, has died. He was in a comma for a while. I recieved tons of Text Messages from people all over as the news started to spread.

Well, this time… it was Joyram in Seattle.
After about 11 years, i saw Joyram again. I could still immediately recognize him after I saw him – but obviously he has changed. He is still doing his PHD in Maryland – much closer to Marasi.

After many-many months, I finally got some news on my passport. But where the hell is it?
My passport was going to expire in July 2008. I had heard stories of the nightmare process to get it renewed with the Zambian embassy. But none-the-less, I decided to start my renewal process much earlier.
