Bootcamp: Day 2 – Test day
Posted: Apr 4th, 2007 at 9:02 am by chilumba
My legs were sore yesterday as a result of Monday’s workout. So I was not necessarily looking forward to today’s session after waking up this morning. It was still cold (45 F or 7.5 C), but felt warmer compared to Monday morning. We were lucky again this morning, as it was not raining. I hope it continues like that.
Today, the baselines have been set -
My Legs – dead.
My Body – sore.
Overall mood – happy.
Nap time sounds good right now
The class started with the usual drills – warm-up jogs, pseudo sprints, and stretching exercises.
After that, we paired up and started setting our baselines.
Here are the STATS -
Pull-ups: 7
1 minute push-ups: 26
2 minute sit-ups: 46
2 mile run (outside): 18 minutes 24 seconds
My feeling – results are not too bad after being out of action for 2 years.
The boot camp training has now officially started.
I just wrote you a deeply emotional comment but your website told me my security code wasn’t valid. When I hit back, it erased my amazing comment. Talk about a poor user experience story!!
Mikey.
I believe you are making excuses after seeing my beatiful numbers. Remember, you are supposed to be doing these activities with me.
Compromise – you can go do the bootcamp activities over there; all I need is Melody to sign off that you were doing them, and I will give you a pass.

Bootcamp: Test day – I passed!…
What is passing bootcamp? What would be failing?
Well, test day was last week wednesday, and I improved on all my numbers. I did not care too much about them because I already hit one of my initial goals – make a medium sized t-shirt look baggy on me…
