New running shoes: Bye-bye elliptical; Hello treadmill

I finally have a new pair of comfortable running shoes. I got them from a Green Lake store – Super Jock n Jill . This store has really good reviews (See store reviews ) and I would recommend it.
I went in the store, and I was presented with different shoes to try on. After sizing me up, they observed how I ran, and determined what new types of shoes to bring out.
For each shoe type, I would go outside and run up-and-down the side walks. I went through a few pairs until I had to make a choice between the final two.
Tiebreaker: I tested both kicks running downhill. I eliminated the one which was tight when running down. If I was in another store, I probably would have got that one just because it fit well. But I am glad I tried a common scenario. I like the idea of leaving the store with a shoe you know will work out.
Nelly too was looking for running shoes. She was jogging on the side walk trying to find the perfect fit. I was happy that she got a shoe that felt right rather than one that looked pretty. I was confident that she was going to pick the girly colored shoe she tried on along the process, but it was not too comfortable on her feet.
We already took our new shoes for a test drive on the treadmill, and they are perfect.
