Trip to Mfuwe.
Lions, Elephants, Monkeys, Hippos, Impalas, Giraffes, Zebras,…..
All animals in their natural habitats.
Mfuwe town is located in the South Luangwa Nation Park in the Eastern province of Zambia. Our safari activities were organized by ‘Robin Pope Safaris’ who housed us at their Nkwali camp. The camp is located on the shores of the Luangwa river. Our room overlooked the river, and you can see and HEAR wild animals on the river. The loudest were hippos with their deep voices. Bull frogs weresecond and only loud mostly at night.
I would recomend Robin Pope Safaris. They have excellent staff and are really well organized. Their setup was amazing and they embrased a family style theme where everyone in the camp (including our Tour Guides) ate together on one big table. The meals were excelent too. Imagine having a gourmet meal in the bush, complete with wine. The table was located outside with a roof to stop the rain. Really difficult to explain the setup – you will just have to go there and see it for your self.
