Chil's Point of View….

Babe’s Marasi’s birthday is today – youngster is getting older.
We celebrated with him a few days earlier while we were in DC. (Birthday pictures are posted here)

Last weekend, an amazing suprise birthday get together for Marasi was coordinated – We got him so good (Dude was clueless). Kudos to Rahab for planning this and getting people to show up at the event.

The plan (2006):

- Get Marasi’s friends contacts (UNCA buddies, Zambia buttas, Virginia Tech matties, Youngstar’s big brother, and DC counterparts)

- Arrange a restaurant that takes a large crowd, and serves good food

- Send an ‘undercover agent’ to convice Marasi to eat at a restaurant with Belly Dancers

- Get on the phone and pretend that the restaurant kitchen closes at a certain time (when Marasi is delaying or behind schedule)

- Shower in record time

- Throw all these scenarios into a mixing bowl

- SUPRISE!!!!
