Visting Mikey in Boston

My first trip to Boston.
I made it out to Boston last week, and kicked it with Mikey. It was pretty cool trip – we ate quite a bit.
Some things I learnt -
- Boston has alot of “Squares”. Harvard square is circular, and so are other squares.
- The-T – boston lingo for the subway/train.
- Mikey refuses to call his small bag as a murse.(??? <- long story)
- The way people cross the streets there is different from Seattle. In Seattle, everyone waits for the ‘Walking Man‘ sign before crossing the road – which makes sense to me.
- If you wait for a restaurant for over an hour in Hanover St, there is good chance that it is really-really good
. Why not stop by “Mike’s Pastry” for their famous Cannoli after dinner.
Some activities -
- Went to Harvard Square the 1st night, and had ice cream
- Went sailing. Mike has a year round pass. It was a cool way of seeing the city.
- Took a tour of Harvard, and checked out Mikey’s office
- Played with the Wii – Super Smash Bros. I used ‘Pikachu’ often
- Ate a whole bunch of meat at Red Bones (The keyword being ‘ a whole bunch’)
- Went cadlestick bowling – different kind of bowling where you palm the bowling balls
- Visited the “Miracle of Science” bar, and checked out the periodic table menu
- Had brunch at Stephanies on Newbury
- Explored China town
- Had tons of fun…
