How often do web site owners look at their referral logs?

I usually find myself looking at my site logs trying to determine what kind of traffic I get to my web site. I also try to determine how people are getting�here (search engines, direct, other linked pages).
While thinking about that, I had an idea. How long will it take before people notice that I now have a blog? I will keep quiet about the blog for now, and will wait to see how long people linked will see links from here. Maybe that will be my next post?
