Chil’s Point of View….

I had a bunch of exams last week. I spent the weekend studying (a week ago). This weekend was Nelly’s turn. She had 15 chapters to go through! 15? That’s crazy. So Nelly spent the whole weekend in a little room at home studying.

What else has been happening?
School + Work + Everything else = Pretty busy the last few weeks.

But maybe more interesting stuff have been happening to some buddies -

- Lisa Mikey is coming to town (see Conference he is presenting at ). I might need to prepare some intelligent questions so that he can prepare for this computer academia meetup.

- Marasi was stuck in Mozambique. His passport and laptop were stolen. He was stuck in a country where people speak Portuguese – his only other European language is French. He was trapped there for a few days, but was issued a foreigners passport to Kenya. He is having a horrible start of 2008.

-Godwell is the other guy who started 2008 on the wrong foot (< - no pun intended ). He tore, ruptured, and snapped his Achilles tendon while playing soccer. (I did not know that Zimbabweans knew how to play soccer).

- Godwell is also now a Washington State Certified Mixologist. He came over to the house on Sunday and made PK and I some cocktails. Yes – Nelly was studying upstairs while I was enjoying cocktails with the boys. It was my mid-term-exams-are-over celebration.

- Ola is feeling the pain of taking 3 classes in 1 quarter. One of the classes has him going to study in school on Saturday morning - 2 weeks in a row. I still have not take any classes with him yet. Maybe if I start gaining mileage on electives - then I can potentially take the same class with him.
