Chil's Point of View….

For the last couple of years, when guys poker night is hosted on Saturday (the only day it is not an ‘All Guys’ event), a female wins at the end of the night. We (the guys) have never figured out why this tradition has gone on for so long. Maybe we are intimidated by women! It must be true – or how can we better explain it?

Well, November 17th was NOT ‘Ladies Night’. Taha broke the curse as he ended up being a Saturday winner. The closest female was not even in second place (I was in second place!!!!). The closest female was 3rd (out of 11 total players; 4 females).

Will the guys hold up?
We will find out at the next Saturday poker night event (probably sometime next year)

Thanks to Chilumba and Nelly for being GREAT and GRACIOUS hosts!!!!!

YES!!!! We finally defeated the women on a SATURDAY GAME!!! Congratulations to Taha who set two new records in one game. He re-established himself as the come back kid and also as the first Woman-Basher!!!

Great game! And good times, as always.

Honorable mention:
Tina has been studying poker (her words), and it showed. She came out third, and was the women’s last hope. Almost pulled it off too. But the men were determined!
Chilumba- I guess partially due to the home field advantage, had his best game yet! He came out second.
JD- Dropped by!

Next Game:
Let me know who is around in December, and we can probably do a quick game if people are down.
