My weekends are gone!

My schedule is all of a sudden full.
Juggling going to work, and being in graduate school in university is not that easy. And in the middle of it, do some work around the yard. Because of the workload, I find that my weekends are gone
.
For university, I have tons of readings to do every week, and some homework assignments to get through. For the yard, the wind storms last week produced an crazy amount of leaves and debris. And for work, it has been busy. So far, I have been able to handle everything with some amazing running around – I think! But my weekends are gone
.
What is a typical weekend looking like for Chilumba?
What Saturday is looking like:
- Wake up in the morning and catch up on news and email
- Study for a bit
- Do some yard work (mostly mowing the lawn and messing with my CORDLESS rechargeable battery operated leaf blower)
- Do some reading
- Start on homework exercises
- Oh crap! It is night time already. I will finish homework tomorrow!
What Sunday is looking
- Wake up in the morning and catch up on news and email
- Study for a bit
- Continue with homework
- Goof around the house to distract me from the course work overload
- Oh crap! It is evening already. I need to get my act together and finish this homework.
- Continue to work through homework and study a little bit more
- My weekend is gone! I need to get some sleep now
Some studying is overlapping into the work-week.
Next week, things gets heavier – I am having exams! Didn’t I just start classes a few weeks ago? My weekends are gone
.
Don’t take me wrong though. I am enjoying being in school again. And SOME of the case studies have been interesting. I also found out that I enjoy “Accounting” courses! I don’t know why I hated Accounting when I took it as an elective in undergraduate school. Or maybe I will find out after the exams whether I am really passionate about it! My weekends are gone
.
Through this all, Nelly too is having the same kind of balancing act. But for this quarter, I think she has more homework than readings compared to me.
When is vacation so that I can have my weekends back? (just for a little bit)
