Tulip Festival weekend

Arranged a quick-last-minute trip to Skagit valley for the Annual Tulip festival (http://www.tulipfestival.org/) on Saturday. It was the last weekend for the festival this year; and it was a nice warm day. For the last few weekends, the weather had not been as nice to make it into the tulip fields.
So early Saturday morning, I called up Juanita who was game, and joined Nelly and I for the afternoon trip. We started off with the Roozengaarde farm. It was obvious that we came late in the month, as most of the bulbs had already been cut. This farm no longer had fields we could walk in either. But none the less, there were some beautiful tulips around their well maintained gardens.
At the farms, we bumped into Isaac Chepkwony. I initially saw him in the distance. So i decided to give him a call and check out the excuse he would give me if I asked him where he was on this Saturday afternoon.
Isaac was honest – he replied that he was looking at flowers(tulips) on a Saturday afternoon. I guess I expected a response like – “I am watching Basketball”.
After the Roozengaarde, we headed to Tulip Town, which still had tulip fields we could walk in – Isaac gave us a heads up about this farm.

If you can drink Smirnoff Ice together, why not enjoy tulips together?
Indeed.
Poker night Smirnoff Ice with Isaac…. why not tulips field-combing with Isaac?
