Bootcamp: Week 3

In Pro sports club boot camp news this week –
Monday:
I went to class 10 minutes late, and I had to do push-ups.
(Excuse for being late)
Why was I late?
Sunday was a busy day. Nelly and I did a lot of cleaning and some gardening. We emptied the storage shade, and got rid of many items in there. Everything that I thought I would use one day ended up in the storage. We also did some yard-work (took care of the small backyard patio flower bed. Spring time gardening)
(Excuse for being late: Part 2)
Because of all the heavy lifting, and all that Sunday work, I found myself going to bed really late. But I also found myself awake around 4 in the morning and I could not go back to sleep. I stayed awake for probably an hour. The next thing I remember is Nelly saying “You are still asleep? Aren’t you late for Bootcamp?”
(Back to boot camp report)
Outside running to Marymoor Park (http://www.metrokc.gov/parks/marymoor/) . The trail is pretty brutal. Running in the steep hill. I tried so many times to push forward without stopping. The constant push would burn and I would force myself to walk for a few feet. I think this is the session which makes people drop-out of the class.
Wednesday:
We did a lot of strength training exercises for about an hour. This was all indoors. Most of the exercises were Pilatus style where we had to stretch weird named muscles. Heavy sets of dumbbells obviously increased the intensity of the exercise.
(Running in the rain)
After the strength training, we had about 30 minutes to do our outside run. This was a 3.1 mile run from the Pro Club into the bridle trains, then turn on 140th heading towards THE HILL. I amazingly run the whole 3.1 miles non-stop (includes 0.5 miles up a hill). It rained this morning – so the run was in the rain. A fun one though.
